1st day of summer!!! Longest day of the year update from the River Jetties in HB as well as a quick update on 1st ever annual surf day. Lords of Dogtown review and can't forget the white rapper Scott Free!!

Surfing Godfather Dale Velzy has died of cancer at the age of 77. He leaves a long legacy of firsts namely 1. First person to put a logo on a surfboard 2. First person to sponsor a surer and #3. First person to put a logo on a shirt. Basically he is responsible for the entire surf industry (sorry Hobie). Additionally another sad report on the passing of long time HB fixture; Mike Morgan. He recently left us at the tender age of 44. He was the Chick Hearn of surf announcing. He will be truly missed. Dave also gives an update of camping at Doheny and teaching his 5 year old daughter to surf.
